Abstract Submission Guidelines

An abstract submission is the mandatory first step toward presenting at any GARI international conference. The abstract must accurately and concisely reflect the scope, methodology, and findings of your research. The scientific committee enforces the following guidelines without exception.

1
Formatting Requirements

File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc / .docx) exclusively. PDF will not be accepted at the abstract stage.
Word Count: Abstract body text must be between 250 to 300 words — strictly enforced.
Font & Size: Times New Roman, 12-point on all content. Section headings may be 14pt bold.
Margins: 1-inch (2.54 cm) on all sides — Top, Bottom, Left and Right.
Title: Concise, informative and must not exceed 15 words. Centered, bold.
Keywords: Exactly 3 to 5 keywords immediately following the abstract text, comma-separated.

2
Required Content Structure

The abstract must function as a standalone document. A reader must be able to understand the complete research without accessing the full paper. Ensure the following four elements are explicitly addressed:

1

Background / Introduction

A clear and brief statement of the research problem, existing gaps in the literature, and the primary objective of the study.

2

Methodology

The overarching methods, tools, analytical frameworks, questionnaires, or data sources utilized.

3

Results

An explicit summary of the primary empirical findings. Do not write "results will be presented." State the results.

4

Conclusion

The significance of the study, limitations of the research, and potential avenues for future work.

3
Peer Review Process

GARI employs a rigorous double-blind peer review methodology to ensure fairness and academic integrity. All identifying details of the author(s) are fully concealed from reviewers.

Phase 1

Secretariat Screening

Format compliance check, Turnitin plagiarism screening, and scope validation.

3–5 Working Days
Phase 2

Double-Blind Review

Two independent PhD reviewers assess your abstract without knowledge of author identity.

14–21 Working Days
Phase 3

Formal Notification

Letter of Acceptance (LOA) or detailed rejection feedback is emailed to the corresponding author.

Final Step

Upon acceptance, you will receive an LOA and a payment invoice within 3 days. Full paper submission (if required for publication) must be completed within 30 days of the LOA date.
